Image Editing And Selection Process.

This has been an exceptionally difficult part of my website design.

I have been photographing motorsports now for the last 6 years covering at least 50 different events and have amassed thousands upon thousands of images during this time.

When I researched other motorsports photography websites, there was a common theme of showing lots of images that were identical, I do not want to do this on my site.

I have edited my images into 3 categories which are, motorbike racing, car racing and people.

I have used a 6 x 4 grid on each tab and intend to only show 24 images on each page.

So far I have put too many images into the motorbike racing section. This is due to me having covered so many different disciplines of bike racing as a photographer.

There are images from the 4 most recognised bike-racing championships in the world which are:

  1. The British Superbike Championship.
  2. The World Superbike Championship.
  3. The MOTO GP World Championship.
  4. The Isle of Man TT.
I do want to show some of my images from each of these events as this will demonstrate to a prospective client that I do have a lot of experience photographing different didciplines within motorbike racing.

I have some images of an Italian Rider called Valentino Rossi who is the most successful motorbike rider of modern time having won 9 World Championships in 16 years.

He is incredibly famous and a virtual god in the realms of bike racing, he is revered all around the world and has millions of fans.

Any images of him are always well-recieved and I aim to use this to my advantage within my site by showcasing some of my own images of him.
